This coming school year, I am tasked to handle and be the adviser of the school paper. Now I want to know what program should I use to lay out the school paper before bringing it to the printing press for final printing.

Adobe InDesign is a great software to layout a newspaper. It's a combination of Adobe Photoshop and the old Adobe PageMaker.

When your done with everything, convert it to a pdf file.

Quark Xpress is the professional program for that.
