Hera was seen as the most beautiful of all goddesses, even Aphrodite. She was referred to as the Queen of Heaven and married to Zeus. Her symbol is the peacock. Her strength was that she was the determined defender of the sanctity of marriage and monogamy. She was very jealous because Zeus constantly had nymphs and other woman hanging about! And a crown would be very appropriate!

Hera is the wife and older sister of Zeus. That makes her queen of the gods. She is the goddess of marriage. Her Roman mythology equivalent is Juno. She is the daughter of Titans Cronus and Rhea. Her children that she gave birth to by means of Zeus are Ares, Hebe, Eris and Eileithyia. One version of Greek Mythology has it that Hera gave birth to Hephaestus out of jealousy for Zeus' solo birth of Athena. Others say that she gave birth to ALL of her children alone by beating her hand on the Earth. Take your pick! She was the stepmother and enemy of Heracles. Whilst Heracles was an infant she sent two serpents to kill him. Once Hera discovered that Zeus had tricked her into nursing Heracles. She immediately pulled Heracles from her breast causing a spurt of her milk to form a smear across the sky-the Milky Way. What's funny is that the Etruscans depicted Heracles as full-grown and bearded when this happened! There is so much because the Greeks had different versions of myths. But they all basically tell the same story. I have attached links for you to do more research. I am sure you'll find them useful.

Yes, a crown and you might take along a peacock. The peacock was her sacred bird.

She was the Queen/Head Goddess and stuck with a philandering husband so, yes, she was known to be jealous but considering he was such a wh*re dog, I don't blame her.

Aphrodite/Venus was goddess of Love. Athena/Minerva was goddess of Wisdom and her symbol was the owl.

She was the wife of ZEUS! She was a very jealous goddess, to boot! I would absolutely wear a crown if you are going to portray her. She was the main goddess, but if you want to find out more, SEARCH!
