It takes time for the alcohol to wreck your liver and ruin your veins and arteries. It takes time for the smoke in cigarettes to wreck your lungs, heart, veins and arteries. It also takes time for the carcinogens in the cigarette smoke to produce cancers anywhere in your body.

My older brother was a heavy drinker and smoker from the time he was 18 y/o and he didn't die of liver failure until he was 40 y/o. I used to work as a RN and I saw his shins about 2 years before he died. The skin was brown (he was Caucasian) and had many sores from poor circulation. They looked like the lower legs of someone 90 y/o who had poor circulation.

When I worked in the hospital I had patients who had to have surgery because they had lost circulation in their legs because of alcohol and cigarette use.

I have a hard time believing that you don't already know these things in this day and age but just in case I thought I would share these things.

I'm 64 y/o and quit smoking when I was 24 y/o. It was one of the best decisions I made in my life. Boozing can also cause throat, esophagus, and stomach cancer also.

I was taught by the Christian Brothers who showed us a movie on the evils of drink. One guy had grown t1ts and a really small dick due to heavy drinking increasing female hormones. It scarred the hell out of me! I have a relative that that was drinking heavily everyday, they ended up having two strokes in 6 months.

Well yeah, drinking daily, every day, can give you psoriasis (hardening) of the liver. Smoking can give you lung cancer, so you might want to STOP NOW while you've got a chance.

Just because it hasn't affected you yet, doesn't mean it won't in the future..so be careful.
