Don't jump it. Your friend will probably find out. It happened to me once and my poor buddy went nuts. I mean way nuts. He attacked me with a baseball bat. He called the preacher and tried to get his mom arrested. He ended up in the psycho ward because noone beleived him. He was only 12 and I was 14.

Take her up on her offer, maybe she is just playing games with you,at least you will know where you stand with her, and your friend, PS ask your friend if he knows what's going on if your not sure, or maybe he knows that dear mom is hitting on you, and set it up from the start.just too see how far it would go.
