mom's parents had 5 kids
mom had 2 kids
I have 2 kids and 2 step kids
I have 2 grandkids and one on the way!
extra: my great grandma had 2 kids (mom's mom's mom)
my great grandma had 5 kids (1 died) (mom's dad's mom)
I don't ever talk about my dad's side because - well it's really complicated and there are a lot of them

My grandparents on the mother side have 7 kids. Father side have 7 kids. My parents have 6 kids. And I plan to have at least 3 or 4 kids of my own. Yeah, we're a big family.

My maternal grandparents had five children: 3 sons and 2 daughters
My paternal grandparents had four children: 2 sons and two daughters
My parents had two sons
I don't plan two have any kids but my brother has two daughters and a son (ages 4 years, 3 years, and 6 months

Dad's Side: Grandparents - 3 + one stillborn Parents: 4, Me: 1 Daughter: 1
Mom's Side: Grandparents - 3 + one stillborn Both sides had the same amount, great grandparents had more children, but there were deaths on both sides from the influenza outbreak.

Some Canadian stats (in case by America you mean North America):
Maternal: Grandparents: 4; Mother: 3; me: Not planning on any :)
Paternal: Grandparents: 14; Father: 3 (I'm the only commonality with my mother); and me: again... not planning on any!

Grand parents Dads- 8 moms side 2 My parents just had me I have had 2 but have 2 step kids. Women don't have as many kids to day as they use to we learned the word protection.

My great-grandparents, on the other hand, had 5 - 8 kids. When they stopped needing them as junior farmhands, they stopped having them, I guess.
