Eastern philosophy re-packaged. Basically, there's a supposed law of attraction that states that if you desire something long enough and hard enough and focus on it, it can be yours. You must name it and claim it and it will become attracted to you by your intense focusing on it.
Selfishness and self-centeredness mixed with occult philosophy. Sounds attractive if you're really not familiar with it.
You wanna know the REAL secret ? 1 Timothy 6 - Godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world and can take nothing out of it - but if we got food, clothing and shelter, with these things, we'll be content.
And also.... Matthew 6:25-33:
25"Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? 26Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Its a book and also a dvd where the writers teach you how to change your life for the better. I think its mostly about thinking positive.
