No. It's your team, so it's not bad to be any fan of any team. I'm a Longhorn, and I'd never say that it's bad to be a fan of them. I hate the Sooner's and Aggies with a passion, as they are my rivals, but I can't say that it's bad to route for the team. It's just a rivalry and we hate each other. Same with you, people are just jealous that they have an awesome football program, and the fans are true fans. Keep routing for your team as I'll route for mine.

I went through a similar problem, I used to be a Red Raider "fan" Everyone in my family is a raider fan, and I liked them, but I didn't love them, well used to that is. Everyone around here is the raider fan, so, I started routing for Texas a while back. My parents got mad, and said I was the band wagoner, and I was like hell no! I'm no band wangoner, I hate band wagoners, and it shows that you have no pride or support for your team. It's just that you liked Michigan more, times can change, and you get tired of a team after so long. Michigan's a good school, as is Ohio State, and it's just the rivalry that makes everone a little tense. Just route for your team, and if they don't like it, then tough.

Also, USA has freedom of choice, you picked an awesome choice, plus I hate Ohio State anyways, I guess because they Texas, and I loved the butt stomping Florida gave them in football and basketball this year, they deserve it, cause Troy Smith ain't all that great. The Heisman curse hits again!!!

Well, if you like being a whiny fan who only cheers for front runners who think it's their God given right to always be mentioned in the national championship chase, who sees their merchandise on every piece of trailer park trash throughout the country, and who keeps submitting to getting shoved into smaller and smaller seats so that you can keep an over-inflated attendance record, you picked the right team.

They'll win the Big Ten this year if only for the fact that the rest of the conference is going to suck hard.
