Yes, and the fact they use it aggressively and irresponsibly is why The Stars & Stripes is now the most hated symbol on earth, and the moon (allegedly).

yea, we just finished watching this horrible movie in my american history class about nuclear weapons and it has REALLY changed my views not only on the U.S. but on the human race also. I think that if we're SO power hungry to ALWAYS have to be the best and have the most of whatever or the biggest of whatever then we've obviously have too much power. Some may say it's part of our "manifest destiny" as well. Lets face the facts our politicians want power...so power they get by being greedy and just plain cruel. I'm sorry this was very opinionated of me, I'm usually not THIS opinionated on politics but it disgusts me how far over the edge we're going to GET power, especially with all the stupid wars we're in right now. Yes they DO have SOME perks to them but in general I don't think war is something that either side can win because both sides face loses. I've now started straying from my origional point and from the question, whoops. Lemme know if you wanna hear more.

Yes i do think the U.S. got too much power. First of all, why should anything that happens five thousand miles away, have to affect me in the U.K.? It's not as if Bush rules the world or something.

Yes and the President has WAY too much power. No wonder the rest of the world seems to hate Americans.
