why dont i ever hear taylor hicks on the radio ? or on tv performing a single ? i always hear katherine and all the other idols, but i never hear any songs by taylor hicks on the radio or tv. how bout yall ? can u tell me wus up wit tay ? thx, i appreciate it.

I don't know that he can be considered the *forgotten idol*. He had a few perfomances tonight on the finale show. He is played in Central Ohio quite often on the radio....just as much as Kat but no where near Kelly......I'm to the point of annoyance with Clarkson...she is sooo overplayed I can't take it!!

Taylor is so unique that American radio doesn't seem to know what category to put him in...He's sold a million records & his concerts are all sold out WAY in advance. I HAVE seen him performing on SEVERAL talk shows...Regis & Kelly (at least twice), GMA (at least twice), Ellen (at least twice), Martha Stewart, Megan Mullay, & Leno (at least three times & he even kicked off Leno's summer concert series two weeks ago).
I wish I could hear him on the radio more, but I guess that's why I have his CD, too, huh? :)

he isnt as popular as the other ones... hes also older .. most of the younger idols do better than him because they have the support of the teenage nation .

i don't think that he has really found his nitch, of fans or a right song for him. i was really shocked when he won. i just dont think that he is all that marketable, especially as "american idol".
