I've been invited to be the date of a very sweet girl I know for her graduation dinner and party.
I need to find something to wear. It's not my graduation, so I want something low key. I have a musculer build, and I'm about 5'11" and my date is 5' I don't have any idea what she's planning to wear.
can anyone suggest any styles?

First, ask your date what she is wearing, You don't need a suit
if she is going to wear capris or a denim skirt.
Then, ask what color - not to match, but just so you don't clash.
Fancy dress - suit w. dress shirt, tie; or dress pants, blazer, dress shirt, and tie.
Sundress or 'regular' dress - blazer, pants, shirt but no tie.

nice shirt (white, light blue, light lavender)
sport coat or suit in grey, dark blue or black..
(match socks to suit...black shoes)
tie (yes or no...depends on how formal it is...)
blue mix, lavender mix, red/black mix, (with appropriate suit colors)
buy her a corsage (white is appropriate..)

what about khaki (sp??) pants & a nice button down shirt
