I think it was Ben. Jack said he was neither friend nor family to the deceased. He would have said he was Juliette's friend, I guessing. Kate was offended at the thought of going to the wake. There was a lot of foreshadowing Ben telling Jack he was making a mistake, etc. Jack was upset when he read the obit. With regret???

I agree, I think it was Juliet. The only other people that could have had a funeral with no one to show up are Ben or Sawyer. But those two are unlikely. Maybe Jacks flash forward was a Desmond flash forward.

They never opened the casket...
The guy asked Jack whether he was a friend or family member, and he said neither... hmmm
I can't wait for next season... it just gets better and better.

I think the casket is noone we've met yet. It is too short for it to be any adult on the island. It is also too short to be Walts casket.

I assumed it was Juliette. Who else could it be, unless its someone new? Everyone else would've had a real funeral (ie. his ex wife or whatever).

Has not yet been revealed. Did you miss it because of your moronic professor who can't read OR tell time?
