A couple of years ago, i would have said no....now i would say yes...because even though you may not have a specific direction you´re going in, you still have a general idea...and when you go against everything you believe in and just become a totally different person than you wanted to become...thats when you´ve lost direction....

sure it is. losing direction isn't only about literal direction (ie:forward or backward). it's also about losing identity, losing touch (with what you want, with reality, with what's important), losing sight of your goals, your dreams. if you start following a path you know is wrong, but it's tempting you, you're losing direction. direction isn't just something that you decide to have. it's the product of your values, your family, friends, lovers, circumstances, everything. losing direction, then, is the result of the choices you make regarding these factors in your life. so, even if you don't know where you're going, you can lose your way

well even when we don't know where we are going we have a general direction and yes I think when we lose that, that is when we are in trouble. you know the trouble some of us get ourselves into? yeah lets try not to lose our direction.

If you dont know where you are going than it is impossible to lose your way. This is why we should not prejudge and decide what we will or will not accept. We should live open and accepting so that we see things clearly and not blinded by our desires. By deciding so much before things happen we are sure to miss out on a lot.

Even if you do not know where you are headed (like you have no goals in life) you still have subconscious goals whether it be "Someplace Better" or just plain survival. If you were underwater, you would swim toward the surface. If you were a boat you would sail toward the shore, if you just got tossed around by waves you would end up starving or capsizing. So whether you know it or not, you are headed somewhere, even if it's to your doom.

Good gravy, girldragon, have you been looking in through my windows? I am very lost right now and I had no idea where I was heading to begin with.
I am considering a fresh start though.

Just because you do not KNOW where you are going does not mean that there is no destination. If you have a destination - known or unknown - it is possible to get lost.

I hope this helps.

Even though my ultimate destination is unknown, the steps along the path are. And yes, I get lost a lot.

What if you know the direction you "want " to take, but you don't have a map to guide you there?.
