No. Sex is very good for you during pregnancy. It provides good hormones to help you relax and helps maintain good emotional health. The act of sex strengthens and exercises the muscles you will need to give birth. Later in pregnancy the prostaglandins in the semen and the oxytocin released during your orgasm can help the cervix ripen and dilate for birth. The only time that doctors recomment against it is if there is a reason that the baby may be likely to come early, or if the placenta is in front of the cervix, or a couple of other issues. Talk with your doctor if you are concerned but for almost all pregnant women sex is recommended. It may be hard to get turned on if you have morning sickness, and later, it can be quite and interesting adventure (I recommend "doggie style") but it is worth it.

Sex is fine during your pregnancy. Actually when you have sex the rocking motion will actually put your baby to sleep! (no joke, well that is what my doctor told me when I asked her that question.) The only time you shouldn't have sex is if the doctor tells you not to or if your water breaks because then bacteria can get in with the baby. Good luck!

You can have sex up until you feel comfortable !!! Unless there is some medical reason you have been told by ur OB-GYN they usually r really good on letting you know if you may run into a problem. But sex can feel really weird with the big belly in front of you so try different positions

good luck on ur baby
and if you still r unsure you can consult ur Dr.

Generally speaking, no. But I have seen times where rough sex has caused a mother to bleed because of the contact with the cervix. From my perspective, that is just plain and simply stupid behavior, and the woman needs to speak up and the man needs to be more considerate.

Late in the pregnancy, again, you do need to use your head. Don't be too rough. Don't be putting yourself in a position where you are going to cut off blood to the baby LOL! But sex is fine unless you have some kind of problem and the doctor advises you otherwise.

Unless there is a condition that the doc says it is unsafe romp away, the only thing it may take a little creativity when you start getting bigger to find a not so awkard position.

In general, no.

If you're at risk for pre-term labor or have had significant bleeding, though, your doctor may put you on "pelvic rest," in which case you'll have to hold off until after the baby comes.

It's okay to have sex while pregnant. It won't hurt you or your baby. If you're in you 8th or 9th month then the orgasm could send the baby into early labor.
