At the end of the finale was that in the future? God i really hope not because that really really sucks!!!

The whole Jack with the beard was a flash forward.
I think the casket is noone we've met yet. It is too short for it to be any adult on the island. It is also too short to be Walts casket.

It sure was. The whole two hours of what we all thought were flashbacks that Jack was having were actually looking into the future! We don't know who died and upset Jack enough to make him want to commit suicide, we don't know who Kate had to go back to when she met Jack at the airport. More questions. Great finale

I think the flash forwards were really weird. I think Jack is really cute but when he had that beard I was like...OMG. I think that Juliette was in the casket because no one liked her and hes wasnt friend or family. I also think that when Kate said that she had to go back to him, she was talking about Sawyer. Because if they were together after the island, I dont think he would want her to be hanging out with Jack.

Kate might've been going back to Sawyer, and Juliette could've died. Would've explained why no one showed up to her funeral and she had an obituary. She could've been a well-known Dr, and her sister died of cancer or whatever, so no one came to her viewing. I can't wait for next season!
Joel, it was definitely NOT Sun lol. She would have had a real funeral, probably in Korea, with her family. Also, Kate said "Why would I have gone to the funeral?". She obviously ddin't like whoever died, probably Juliette.

could be a different sort of premonition of Desmond's?

I thought it was Locke's funeral. Neither friend nor family, Locke was always a loner, and Locke was right about the island which could be why Jack was so upset to see he died.
Locke would fight to the death to stay on the island though, so I'm probably wrong
