3) nash
4) wade
5) lebron

1. Kobe Bryant
2. Tim Duncan
3. LeBron James
4. Jason Kidd
5. Steve Nash
6. Dwayne Wade - could be higher if he played more games this season!
7. Amare Stoudemire
8. Baron Davis - What a playoff he had this season!
9. Dirk Nowitski - Played well in regular season but really choked in playoff (again!)
10. Bosh - he is not as strong as other PF but he is versatile and Toronto really did well with him.
Honorable mentioned which can fit in for spot 7 - 10 are Yao Ming (not enough rebounds for a 7'6), Boozer (I like his double double), Anthony (offense game only), Shaq (too old and stats declining), Billups, Jermaine O'Neal, Pierce and Arenas (need to pass the ball!)
Starters:
PG: Jason Kidd
SG: Ray Allen
SF: Kobe Bryant
PF: Tim Duncan
C: Marcus Camby
I am running a three guards rotation because I really think Duncan and Camby can get the rebounds and both Kidd and Bryant can defend well with the centers. I was tempted to put LeBron as SF (since Garnett is not there!) but I think u need two shooters in the starting lineup and Kobe and Allen are better shooters. Kidd over Nash becos Kidd is a much better defender. I like a team who can defense as well as playing any kinds of offense! Yao is good but he needs to get more rebounds!
Where is Garnett and Marion on ur list?

1.)Tim Duncan-I don't think this really needs much of an explanation, he's the best player in the NBA
2.)Dirk Nowitzki-maybe he doesn't win in the postseason, but he's still one of the most talented PF's in NBA history
3.)Dwayne Wade-he actually did win a championship, and he didn't need to be surrounded by a bunch of scorers just to make the playoffs (you know who you are Lebron), he's never missed them!
4.)Jason Kidd-no offense Steve Nash, but Kidd plays better defense, rebound sooooooo much better, and almost became the second player in NBA history to average a triple double for a season. He is the best PG in the league.
5.)Steve Nash-he's the second best PG in the league, I don't really think I need to add too much to this.
6.)Carmelo Anthony-better than Lebron? Yes, like Wade he's never missed the playoffs, and he didn't need to be surrounded by a bunch of scorers either.
7.)Kobe Bryant-still one of, if not the most, talented players in the league. He just needs to finish learning how to be a team player.
8.)Gilbert Arenas-Agent Zero needs to learn to play defense, and how to not be so crazy.
9.)Chauncy Billups-probably the best clutch shooter in the NBA (sorry Robert Horry fans).
10.)Lebron James-he has the body type and athleticism to be the next Magic Johnson, if only he'd learn to be that instead of Dr. J.
My Starting five would be Duncan (C), Nowitzki(PF), Carmelo (SF), Wade(SG), and Kidd(PG)....yeah, umm that's it.

1. Tim Duncan
2. LeBron James
3. Dwyane Wade
4. Kobe Bryant
5. Dirk Nowitzki
6. Steve nash
7. Yao Ming
8. Carmelo Anthony
9. Amare Stoudemire
10. Tracy McGrady
A starting 5 out of this group?
PG Nash - He is the best point guard in the league. This isn't too tough.
SG Bryant - Wade is better, but his role would be diminished with Nash on the team. Bryant is the better pure shooter, and has better 3-point range, which is a must when playing with Nash.
C - Duncan - Duncan plays center on my team (as he does on the Spurs, but that is a whole 'nother deal). He is an outstanding defender, and can get his shots without slowin up the tempo as much as a Yao might.
SF - James - This one really isn't close. It's James vs. Anthony in this one, and it's a major dropoff from there. But yeah, James can do just about anything you need him to. Chemistry is no issue.
PF - Nowitzki - Kinda odd to label him a 3-point specialist, but given that this team has two guards who need to get to the lane to be effective, you have to have someone who can stretch the defense. Nowitzki would wind up leading this starting 5 in scoring, thanks to his versatility.

#1 - Tim Duncan
#2 - Steve Nash
#3 - Kobe Bryant
#4 - D-Wade
#5 - LeBron James
#6 - Dirk Nowitzki
#7- Carmelo Anthony
#8- Chris Bosh
#9- Amare Stoudemire
#10- Baron Davis
Now the problem is so many of these guys play the same position. You have to pick between Billups,LeBron, Davis, Nash and Kidd at PG, and between Arenas/Carmelo/Kobe/D-Wade at SG.
If you move Kobe to SF, then your starting five is Nash, Wade, Kobe, Duncan and (when healthy) Shaq.
PF is even more of a mess- personally I think Elton Brand and KG are both better than Boozer, Stoudemire or Camby and they didn't even make the list :)

It has to be either Dwyane Wade or Kobe Bryant. I would say Dwyane Wade because he is very good, he puts up incredible stats, and he is prolly the best clutch player right now. His performance in the finals were comparable to Michael Jordan's. Kobe is great to but his attitude is bad. Dwyane Wade is a humble person. Id put him over Lebron too because Lebron chokes to much and plays bad defense. Wade is a good defender not great but good. He gets a lot of blocks and steals. Dwyane is clutch and a leader in the fourth qtr. Kobe is to but the attitude thing i mentioned above is putting him behind Dwyane Wade.

First and foremost out of those players there is no worst.
the ten best in no particular order are
Dirk
Steve Nash (I guess he doesn't have a nickname)
J-Kidd
Vinsanity
T Mac
Lebron
AI
Yao
Kobe
Tim Deezy
Paul Pierce (I guess he doesn't have a nickname either)
My five starters would be
PG: Steve Nash or J-Kidd (depending on the style of play)
SG: Kobe (duh!!!)
SF: Lebron
PF: Dirk (deadly outside ability)
C: Shaq

Garnett belongs somewhere on that list. Payton should be on the has been list. Kirk Hinrich? I'm a Bulls fan and I say he doesn't belong on the list. Where's Ben Wallace? Don't tell me you're only looking at scorers?
You could also sub a few of those names with Michael Redd, Dwight Howard, Mikki Moore, and Ben Gordon
