Girls are all the time complaining about the fact that guys don't leave the toilet seat down......so guys.....LEAVE the toilet seat down for a few days. Won't the ladies be BEGGING for you to leave the toilet seat up after they sit in overspray?

I realise that. I dont get why some women go on about it so much. And anyway, why should guys have to leave it down, who came up with that anyway...maybe women should leave it up as a common courstey to guys!
I tend to just put the whole lot down, lid and all, it looks neater. I never b**** at my partner if he leaves it up. I honestly dont care.

This is one of those irritating subject that makes me laugh at both genders sometimes.
Men can be pigs on this subject. I can be in a public restroom with urinals ans guy will walk into the toilet stall and commence to piss all over the toilet seat. I have seen this on numerous occasions.
The only time I urinate standing is in places with urinals or outside in the wilderness. At in my home or in private homes I urinate sitting down to not spray all over the toilet. This is a good habit because you will not miss the toilet in the middle of night.
It is a civilized practice to pee sitting down if you care about keeping a bathroom in a sanitary condition. Further more the gender based argument of leaving the toilet seat up would never happens in a household. It is how we teach out children when they are young that determines who they are in adulthood.

The toilet seat was designed to be put up so it's the ladies who forget to put it up after they're finished not the other way around

if you are saying that you cannot pee in the toilet with seat down ..without getting pee on the seat then you must be retarded...that is a pretty big target.....or you could just do the tactful thing and put the seat down when done,,,,,i mean really dude ...come on.

I don't beg anyone to leave it down after he finishes, I expect it and if it isn't done, he will hear about it. Just that simple.

I figure that since my husband has to go to the effort of lifting it up everytime, it's only fair that I have to go to the effort of putting it back down.
The only solution that is fair to both sides is to actually put the lid down too - then everyone has to lift something.

i would always be upset when my husband left the seat up but then i got to thinking why dont women make a habit of picking it up when we are done?

NEVER get the women mad at you!
They Tak to each other and you will be dead meat so fast you won't know what hit you.
And they have VERY, VERY, VERY long memories.

No. You pick it up to pee, then put it back down. It's common courtesy.
