my group had to make up a business for Accounting class and my assignment is to make an estimate about how much the company is going to make in a fiscal year....

How big is the hotel? Ten rooms? 100? 1,000? Is it a premium or a discount destination? Which beach is it located on (translation: which, if any, minimum wage laws apply)?

Basically, you need a build a financial model. Start with the room rate and number of rooms and work your way down to maids' wages, mortgage on the land and building, etc.
