Why does Taco Bell waste hot sauce packets the way they do? How many unused packets of hot sauce do you think get thrown out every day at Taco Bells around the world? How many people could we feed with this hot sauce? Why would a restaurant whose meals are so small and unsatisfying they should be considered snacks be so wasteful with their condiments? Are they overcompensating?

Well, you can so what i do , i have a zip lock bag full of hot sause from taco bell , and i just save them because they always give me alot more packets then i ask for , so i keep them and use them for when i want to add some taste to home cooked foood , like when i get home made tacos and other things..

Why let them go to waste?

Hey! Some people just like to add more fire to their taste buds... I don't even think the FIRE sauce packets are hot enough for me. LOL...

...But your question does sound intelligent. You are thinking pensively. I'm not sure but I heard that hot sauce packets are quiet inexpensive. But you are right, instead of wasting that money and "food", they should try caring about the extremely ravenous, and destitute people around the world. Not only Taco Bell, but everyone has to start realize this. I truthfully hate when anyone wastes food, like my sister for example.

Next time you go to Taco Bell tell them specifically the amount of hot sauce packets you want to come with your meal.

They should ask how many packets of hot sauce you would like. Eight sounds about right for me but for others, none is too many.

I dont know about you but I could use 4 or 5 of them on one., Plus if you keep the extras in the fridge they have other uses too!! That is if you ever eat at home :)

if it bothers you that much you do know that you could always reach down in your bag and take out what you don't need and give it back don't you. What was the point of your question besides making yourself seem stupid.

Maybe they want you to embarrass yourself by getting up and saying,"Hot! Hot! Hot!"

Here they don't, either you get your own if you take out or you have to ask for them if you get "drive thru". I suppose it differs from place to place.

You could specify how many you want when you order. People are hard to please sometimes so they probably thought too many are better than not enough.
