Cicada=locust and not only edible but nutritious.

Everybody says they are. I actually ate 2 this morning and my friends ate some as well.

yes, they are actually quite nutritious for many species including humans.

I don't know, but my cat loves them. In fact I have two cats that will fight over them. They think that they are delicious.
