As a registered Democrat, I have to honestly say our party have slim pickings since former President Bill Clinton left office. I don't know much about his wife Senator Hillary Clinton to make an educated opinion but her husband been president through my elementary school years to freshman year in high school and I think he did a fabulous job. Who do you think should get the nod as the Democratic presidential contender in 2008?

I'll let you know the answer after the big debate on CNN. Whoever has the balls to stand up and speak the truth and shows the most genuine concern for working class americans will be my choice. America needs a protectionist who doesn't have ties to any racist organizations. That person could get elected no problem. If I find a candidate like that I am voting for them regardless of their party affiliation.

I def. think that his wife Hilary Clinton should be the democratic party campaign member. She helped alot in the presidency when Bill was in office. If you go to her website you can see where he speaks about what she did for the country when he was in office. She is a wonderful candidate and I hope she wins. She has alot of good views and goals and def. wants to get this war stopped. Im not thinking any other person would be better for our country being as Bill Clinton can not run again. :-)

My candidate, former Senator Mike Gravel. He tells the truth and has real ideas for the real change that this country desperately needs.

I'll give you his campaign website and a few links should you want to check them out.

I agree on Clinton by the way. I dont care about his little affair with Monica, the Clinton years were some of the happiest years for America in my lifetime.

more beneficial than probably, the Democratic nominee will be both Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama. My prediction is that it will Hillary for Democratic presidential nominee, and that she will be able of %. Obama because the Vice Presidential candidate. Obama will be deemed to bathe and eco-friendly to be the nominee. Hillary will be deemed to have too a lot political "luggage" to get the nod. the subsequent twelve months will opt for it. Which one will blunder a lot less, or more beneficial? which will be certain the nomination maximum probably.

Hi. I'm 2 years older than you, and also a registered Democrat. I'm still hoping Senator Russ Feingold decides to enter the race, or Al Gore. My favorite of the announced candidates is Chris Dodd. Sure, he doesn't generate much excitement but he has solid liberal credentials and he has decades of experience in national politics and it hasn't ruined him.

Hillary Clinton has the intelligence as a lawyer to decide on critical issues and has the experience as a Senator to have stability under pressure.

VOTE for your choice as US President on my 360 degrees blog and know who will likely win.

The Republican nominee. It's that simple. The Dems can keep putting up these worthless candidates, or they can get with the program and realise that they need to be seen as fighting the war on terror in order to stay as a viable political force. That isn't going to happen with any of the jokers that are currently vying for the nomination. The only way they'll have any credibility is to get behind the Republican. That isn't going to happen, though.

Not the I want the war/ I'm against the war. Man hating feminist Hillary. And not Obama, the college Coke head who doesn't even know who he is either. Between the two of them you won't stand a chance in this country if you are a white male.

I'm hoping for Obama, but I have/ a hunch that the conservative south and midwest won't have the balls or the open minds to vote for him, and the dems would lose again. It's sort of up in the air whether Obama could win or not, but if he could, then I'm definitely behind him.
