There are way too many bogus profiles that give you viruses, child molesters and all sorts of other things. I think it gets worse by the second. Should I just delete my profile and stick with Facebook.

You can't get viruses from the internet...only if you download something on to your computer.
Child molestors and spammers are on Facebook and any other community website. As long as retards keep clicking for ringtones and penis enlargers, the spammers will continue.
I say keep your profile active but maybe don't check it as often. You never know what long lost friend you might come in contact because they found you on there. More people are on Myspace vs Facebook.

Give it time iv seen my friends delete their profile and thier pic still shows up, but when i clic on it it doesnt take u to thier profile, it might tell u it no longer exsist. After a few days ur pic should be gone and there will be that big X through the face

That's entirely up to you. But myspace has nothing to do with those viruses, it's the links that people post that have the bad stuff on it. If you get phished, just change your password.

Facebook is no better. And Either is just as safe as meeting people ANYWHERE. People lie about their age, if they have a bf, gf or wife, how old they are and how much they make. Use common sense everywhere but dont be paranoid

as long as you have a good antivirus prog, and do not just download all kinds of things you should be safe. i have a " my space" and have had no probs with virus there. as to child molesters, they are all over the web. be careful who you add as a friend, and if you feel you are being approached by one, REPORT IT!!!!!!

no matter where you go online you're going to have to worry about viruses, and if you're somewhere that involves people you're gonna have to worry about child molesters or whatever. i guess if you really don't want to worry with them, you'd have to get rid of your internet.

facebook is way better...i just use myspace cause there are more options and people to meet..but yeah make your profile private

put your profile setting to private and add only friends and only the people in your friendlist can view ur profile if u set it to private

well wut u do is set ur pic n profile on private n delete da plp dat u dnt kno n dont add plp u dont kno either nobody can get a hold of u exept ur friend n fam. but if u wanna delete it datz ur choice.
