Did Charlie seriously die? We thought Echo, Locke and Desmond died last year. Charlie could still some to his senses and swim out the hole or open the door. They may have left it like that so he can still negotioate a contract.

No one really knows. U know how the show twist and turns. A lot of people die in the show who mysteriously comes back. Since charlie is shown as a floating body in that room nobody really knows if he's gonna survive till next season on lost. But I really like the music when he was drowning :) (yeah I know off topic)

He's dead.
Desmond's visions indicated that Charlie must die there for Aaron and Claire to be rescued so Charlie died for them.

he supposedly died...but people seem to come back to life on lost, locke got shot and he still lived. maybe next episode theyll show him get rescued at the last minute, there was a window behind him in the room, who knows

what did they mean "he got rescued'? do they have to die to leave the island...i am so confused!
