Consider yourself blessed. You have parents with excellent parenting skills. You may think that they are being a pain in the you know what, but they have your best interest at heart.

They love you and care for your safety. The internet can be a very dangerous place for an adult let alone a minor. So be happy that your parents love and care about your safety.

Going against their "parental controls", could cost you and your parents alot of grief, or even your life. (Trust me, the pc is not as safe as you may think).

If you are given instructions on answers, on how to get around your parents control, please don't follow the brain dead person who gave you the instructions.

Believe it or not, they have a good reason for setting up those controls. Contrary to what you may believe, they aren't just trying to be mean and controlling. Really, I have to save my kid from doing stupid things all the time.

Just talk to your parents. Since you didn't mention how old you are there's no way to judge if you should be surfing the Internet unsupervised. Your parents are the best judge of that and they've decided you need limits. Live with it until you get older.

It good that you parents have taken the time to prevent you from getting into trouble on the Internet. Why don't you talk to them about losening up a little on the control? If they find out that you bypassed what they have done, they most likely will be pis*ed off. Wouldn't they??
If it's XP, just press the F8 key during boot to access the Advanced Boot Menu. Select Safe Mode and try to access Safe Mode with the Administartor account (usually no password applied to it). Change your account to admin account. Then you can change things like they can. Think about it first though!
