I would make an appointment with your doctor and get a complete physical. He is the only one who can determine if you are healthy enough to conceive. Also tell your doctor what diet you are on. He may have to modify if you do get pregnant. Good luck on having a healthy baby

A basic physical should do the trick. They may also do a few extra tests, just to make sure, but it will probably be a fairly normal appointment.
Some things to think about: Being overweight in pregnancy can cause a few complications. Some of which are pre-eclampsia, hypertension, gestational diabetes, not to mention stress on joints. Being overweight CAN lead to difficulty in getting pregnant, but it didn't really stop me. When I got pregnant, it was a big surprise. I'm about 60 lbs overweight, but I am also tall. I actually didn't gain much weight during pregnancy (due to my change in diet and my level of physical activity). On the day I gave birth, I was about 4 lbs heavier than I was when I got pregnant, so when I had my son, I weighed less than I did before I got pregnant. (yes, I know- I'm a freak)
Also, take prenatal vitamins and consume foods with folic acid during this time that you are trying to concieve. Avoid activities like drinking excessively, smoking, and treat your body as if you are already pregnant, because who knows...you may be already.

Its always a good idea to know how your health is and how you can improve it. I would suggest going to get a physical before trying to concieve. My Dr required me to have an internal done at 12 weeks pregnant since I had not had one in a year. I was pretty worried about it since I had heard some stories of friends who had them and started bleeding after (miscarriage followed) So I am all for getting any necessary stuff out of the way before you actually get pregnant :) Good Luck

A basic physical should do also have your thyroid and blood sugar checked as these are common problems which cause a woman's cycle to be irregular and are very common in women who are over weight. And they can be treated i tried for a year with no luck as soon a they found my pre-diabetic condition they gave a pill to help fix and now I'm 14 weeks. So good luck it's great that you getting in shape now maybe take folic acid pills or prenatal vitamins.

Why are you stressful now ? it truly is somewhat late isn't it ? Are you implying which you nevertheless have not married and attempting for huge type 2 ? babies deserve a father and a mom and that demands dedication. If a pair is mutually "till we've issues" then it truly is barely a count number of time formerly they injury up. Why are you thinking approximately this now ? You did no longer care what God or society theory formerly getting pregnant the 1st time and now thinking if God is "punishing you" once you're returned doing what you prefer to do by way of having fertility remedies. have you ever considered that perhaps it truly is God's will which you only have one ? have you ever prayed approximately that ? Or do you only pray once you do what you prefer to do and have issues ?

I've always been told it's best to get a complete physical before attempting to conceive. Let your Dr. know that's why you are making the appointment. Happy Conception!

Loosing weight will increase your chances of falling pregnant. Consult your doctor and he will tell you what you need to do but you can get pre-pregnancy vitamins & iron tablets if you know your iron levels are low. But best of checking with your local GP and he/she can help out with more advise.
