I'm very stressed out I haven't been able to get rid of my period!! I'm in the middle of moving and I've got 2 small children. I'm just very worried I hope that it's just due to stress someone help!!

your menstrual cycle is very succeptible to outside forces, especially stressful situations! so yes, with two young children and a move going on, i'd say you're definitely experiencing life-related complications here! i wouldn't worry about it. chances are, the not worrying will help your body to return to normal. still, it's always best to check with your gyn if you have any unresolved questions or a bad feeling about this. good luck!

I wouldn't be too worried. Are you typically on schedule and for the same amount of days? My period can run from 5 days to 10. If I recally, I even had a period or two that ran 14 days. Your doctor can put you on birth control pills, which can stop it in mid cycle if used on the correct days. I would just let it run its course. If it isn't normal for you, and happens again, I would give the doctor a call. I did know a woman that had her period twice a month due to stress. I don't think that's what's going on with you, though.

It may be due to stress, but, in this case, 10 days, you should definitely put aside some time to see a doctor. I know this sweet woman Carol. Her's did not stop for two weeks. She went to the doctor, it turned out she had an iron deficiency. Definitely look into this.

i've only heard of stress causing a period to be late,not last longer. i'd give the doc a call. probably nothing to worry about but better to be safe and have peace of mind.
