My goodness, the man made a decision to go to war on the flimsiest of evidence (there was more evidence to convict O.J.). When Tenet gave him what they had, Bush said, "Is this all there is?" How hard is it to understand that he is the commander-in-chief and has the ultimate responsibility in taking us to war and is responsible for his own actions. A soldier's job is to fight (and possibly die) to protect this nation. A poltician's job is to make sure he never has to. If helicopter pilot's are responsible for making mistakes that result in friendly fire incidents, why is it such a big stretch for some of you to understand that the buck stops with the president when it comes to waging war??

Bush did not make this decision alone, most of the
Senate and House also voted to go in, UN Resolution 687
gave authority to go in, Clinton signed the Iraq Liberation Act
to rid Iraq from Saddam Hussein. There were several
people involved in this decision, so when your party
apologizes, we will apologize

My god! Some people just don't get it... It's like someone needs to just shake you until your head pops off. Did you ever hear anything about Saddam Hussein thumbing his nose at U.N. sanctions for years? He also didn't allow the weapons inspectors in his palaces.. That was the reason for ending the first gulf war. They (Iraq) didn't hold up their end of the bargain. If they chose not to follow the cease fire agreements then there is NO cease fire. What is so hard to understand about that?

Bush apologists have two main obstacles to their understanding ....the first is to admit Bush was wrong they have to admit they were wrong to vote him in and support his malarky. The second obstacle is that they are sheeple, they let the rightwing news groups tell them what to think and who to hate. So they have to be taken out of that herd mentality, and shown how to ask real questions, and shown how to think for themselves. Some will wake up most will not. The best that an intelligent person can do is post lots of info on cyberspace and back it all up with facts and real news articles.

Dude, that hurts man. Everyone wants to blame G-dub for Iraq. It was Clinton's fault dude. If he and Gore hadn't been inventing the internet, he could have gotten rid of the Sadman sooner. Bush had to sweep up dude. G-dub had the clear thinking on this one dude, he didn't use no intelligence, he just went with the force. And he listened to the big guy upstairs. Dude, the big guy talks direct to him, no interference....four bars man. If it hadn't been for G-Dub, the Irans would be jumpin our bones too dude. They fraid of ole G-Dub. G-Dub is the bomb dude. He don't have to listen to all them so called intelligent guys from the CIA. He even gots himself a war czar guy. Look out ohsammie!!!

I hold him to full accountability. He takes full responsibility.
And I support him. There is massive evidence that Saddam was a threat. Read the Joint Resolution. It's not all about WMD's. No one is apologizing for Bush's actions.

You are right. I see his supporters here denouncing President Carter for having called Mr. Bush the worst president in history, but my God--he IS the worst president in history. President Carter was a wonderful president compared to this fool. President Carter did no damage, only 10 soldiers died under his presidency, trying to free the hostages, which was a good, decent, and necessary military mission. Mr. Bush has been responsible for over 3,800 US military deaths, between 15,000 and 600,000 Iraqi deaths, and he put the country hopelessly in debt to Communist China. Anyway, thanks for having a brain!

GEZZ LETS JUST BLAME EVERYONE!

In short, blame Rove, Bush, Gingrich and Reagan for destroying the political center in this country and forcing liberals to fight for justice AT HOME instead of abroad.

Well, blame us too. We're a pretty smart bunch, and we're certainly familiar with self-criticism. The thing is, all of our best instincts have been used against us, and we're sick of it. So when things get worse in Iraq, I won't be 'happy', because I know the horrors that Americans (liberals included) are responsible for, but don't expect me to be shattered.

No we wont. Thanks for asking; easiest 2 points tonight.

You rant conveniently excludes the support for congress to go to Iraq, their acceptance of your so called "flimsiest of evidence", etc.

There was little debate about going....the debate is about current and future plan.
