Yes.

It has a 15 pin HD D-sub AKA VGA connector for analog.

Also a HDMI connector for digital. You would need a DVI-D to HDMI cable for this.

I would go with the digital link over a quality cable. A better picture over a longer distance.

According to the Techspecs on the buy.com page, one of the interfaces is a "1 x 15-pin D-Sub" interface. This interface is associated with the standard VGA monitors. If you only have a newer video interface on your computer (DVI is a wider connector with a long slit), then you would need a small converter to interface with the 15 pin D-Sub.

So, in answer to your question, the tv can be used as a monitor - but remember, it may not look as crisp and clean as an actual computer monitor because the bigger the screen - the slower the refresh rate. Think of a refresh rate as how often your video is drawn on the screen.

If you are wanting to play video games and have them be smooth - this TV won't do too well as a computer monitor. It will most likely be sluggish and choppy.

Hope this answer helps.

Quoted from the advertisement:

"The 327V can even double as a computer display with support for resolutions up to 1360 x 768 through HDMI and VGA."

1360X768 is not a terrible PC resolution but it's not great either when comparable monitors are capable of more than 1900X1600.
