I've been a paraplegic for almost 30 years and love to get into the pool. When I do, I found the dog paddle to work best for me but usually just love to float on my back.

I am partially visually impaired and I can swim very well and any stroke. Used to be a really good swimmer as a kid (really good at breaststroke). My "disability" has no impact on my swimming ability so I guess this answer is all about getting two points. LOL
Cheers.

It depends on the disability. Swimming strokes can be altered for almost any disability.

I had several surgeries on my legs. I cannot handle the impact of the water when I do the crawl. so I either swim with just my arms with a board between my knees or I do the side stoke.

For scoliosis, the side stroke works best.

None of them. Swimming, like driving, is taboo for people with seizure disorders.
I like the dog paddle best, though.
