What color was it? Blue or white. Blue is oil and white is gas. From that, you can decide from which angle to work at.

But, it gets to the point of which is cheaper, buying a quart of oil or rebuilding the engine. Frankly, until you make your mind up, you should keep oil in the trunk and check the oil level, as well as the water level often.

What's happening, shouldn't be. and if you don't keep on top of it, the engine Will seize on you without warning because there will be no oil or coolant in it.

You can go like this for a while if you keep on top of it, that is checking it, but the bottom line is an engine rebuild. The only other thing i can think of is take it on a cold day and trade it in on something newer. One a cold day, it may not behave as badly and they may not look it over as closely as on a warm day. The down side, one a cold day, you may not notice defects on a car your buying.

paul is correct it happens from normal running you don,t see it in cars much because the pcv valve pulls it into the intake
sounds like some people have never checked their oil after they just shut it off the only time to worry is if you pull it and it has pressure behind it then your rings would be getting worn or the crankcase vent is stopped up

It depends on the condition of the bike, oil and the amount of oil in the bike.If you have an older bike, it is OK, but if your bike is newer you should get it checked out.
