My favorite childhood Story was "THE BIRTH OF JESUS." I could not compehend a Beautiful Baby being Born In A Barn, With Animals! Or the Way His Mother Mary and Earthly Father Josheph, Traveled With Him On A Donkey! I Thought they surely Loved Him A Lot, To Obey God Like They DID..... This Lovely Story Still Amazes Me!! (smile)

Hard question. Picking just one always is... so I'll fence sit and give you one of each. "The Country Mouse and the City Mouse" for the book... and the tales my grandfather would spin of the Little People. Come to think of it, he spun every book and made the stories more alive than what was written on the pages. I was spoiled. I had my own personal bard until I was six!

I know this is not pc but I used to love Little Black Sambo, remember the Little Golden Books? I made my Grandma read me that book or tell me the story 100 times a day if she would.
Wow that was a blast from the past, I almost forgot about that, thanks for the memory :)

I have three favorite stories:
1. Anyone can be president..You can be president.
2. You are not judged by the color of your skin but by the content of your character. (that one might be no. 1) and finally
3. money can't buy you love.
three of my favorite childhood stories.
