Okay you can try squatting. And get the tampons pearl. They are easier than cardboard one and they slide in easier. Try putting a little water on the tip of the tampon then squat down and insert gently.

You should probably use the regular size tampons and put one foot up on the toilet stool. Relax insert the tampon into your vagina as far as it will go aiming in the direction of the low part of your back, then push the plunger.
The tampon should be facing the small of your back. It should not be facing up towards your face.
After you push the plunger, pull the applicator out and you will have the string hanging out.

Buy the playtex slim fit (I think they are playtex). They are smaller and made for teens. Then, sometimes it works better if you have one foot up on a bed or the side of the tub. It depends on the person. You can also put some vaseline or some other form of lubricant on the applicator to make it go in easier. If it is lubricated it should just slide in. There are directions on the box that will tell you exactly how to put it in, but this should make it easier

Honey, you just have to relax because if you tense up it'll be hard. Find a position that's easy for you (i.e; put a foot on the toilet lid) Also, I'd suggest using the smallest tampon available...since it's your first time.

I couldn't put tampons in until I had sex a few months ago. It's really hard for some girls. Lay on your bed on your back and push it straight up. I used to try to push it in towards my butt! After I had sex I got to know my body much better, I'm using tampons now! Best of luck! :)

try a different position--if you were sitting down last time, try standing to put it in. use the smallest size and get tampons with the applicators (i think the cardboard ones r best)... good luck & have fun swimming!

I think you just need to relax, with a little bit of force it should not be a problem.
