Nashville will definitely be the first to go because despite the team's on-ice success, the franchise has been unable to attract fans. They averaged less than 14,000 fans per game, and even that number is inflated. The sale of the franchise to a Canadian billionaire living near Hamilton, Ontario adds more fuel to speculation that the Predators will move soon.
Next in line to move should be the Florida Panthers, Columbus Blue Jackets, Phoenix Coyotes, Anaheim Ducks, and Atlanta Thrashers. The Carolina Hurricanes is skating on thin ice also.

With Pittsburgh settled and Nashville with new ownership (we'll assume everyone is happy there for the moment), there's no real candidate. I'm not sure where the Islanders are in their fight for a new arena, but if that falls through they could be a candidate.
By the way, no one is moving to Hamilton, Ontario, any time soon. The Sabres have territorial rights to Hamilton, as do the Maple Leafs. The Sabres would never let a team go there. The arena would have to be severly upgraded (suites) in order to meet NHL standards these days.

The Edmonton Oilers. They have been living on borrowed time since Peter Pocklington decided to trade away his best players - beginning with Wayne Gretzky being traded to the Kings.
At that time, they found a way to remain in Edmonton, but today's economy, player salaries, the importance of arena revenue, and a few other factors make it nearly impossible to be profitable and competitive on the ice in smaller Canadian cities.
I hope I am wrong, but it seems to me that the Oilers are headed for Kansas City.
And there will not be any teams moving to Hamilton.

Uh... I think the person who put the Penguins has been in a sensory deprivation tank for the last 4 months. The Pens have a new arena coming with a 30 year lease. So they arn't going anywhere.
If any team moves it would probably be Nashville

Nashville to Southern Ontario.
They've just been sold because they have lost money for the last 10 years and they average less tha 14,000 fans per game.
Southern Ontario needs another team, there is a huge number of hockey fans who can't possibly get Leaf tickets.

Nashville: They Need to Move Out of that GayLord Centre !!! Gives them a bad name!!!
Florida: Not a Lot of Fans Supporting!!! and there is tampa bay so who needs 2 florida teams?

I remember reading New Jersey was unable to attract any sellout crowds during their entire playoff run. I'm sure they're not the only team, but it's still very surprising that a team with three cups can't pack them in.

All I know is that Detroit should somehow be moved to the Eastern Conference...
All this B.S. about traveling an extra 4,000 miles during the playoffs than anyone else...and all of the 10:30 PM games make it impossible to watch many series.....
It is ridiculous....
