The one common element that is ever increasion amongst Muslums is hatred of the west. Not that we don't deserve it with our belief that we should impose our world vision upon everbody who doesn't see things the way we (our politicians) think they should. What if they put aside our differences and united against the west? Doesn't the potential of a united, willing to die for their cause group of multiple countries with at least some Nuclear capabilities and millions upon millions of people pose a serious threat to us? Doesn't our arrogance and unwillingness to engage in diplomacy with major players such as Iran only add fuel to the fire?

I think that your deductions are accurate. In my opinion, we are currently living in the most dangerous times in human history -- more so than during the Cold War when the U.S.S.R. was our only nuclear opponent. We are truly hated by many in the Middle Eastern nations where there are those who would celebrate the demise of the U.S.A. and even the democracies of Europe. The Muslim agenda is to enforce their views upon the world so far as I can see, and they are diligently endeavoring to develop the means to do so, or, failing that, inciting nuclear war in which the extinction of humanity is not beyond the realm of possibility. I tend to view the war in Iraq as an immense contributing factor to the present dire state of the world.

Yeah, to the last question.
I'm not Muslim and I don't know what you consider the 'west' (if you mean America, then ok) because Europeans tend to have jokes about the west as well, I think it's more like the entire world vs the west hahaa...
but yeah, the idea of imposing ones beliefs on another poses a threat to everyone.

The problem is the religion. As long as the world's politics are dictated to by religious factions, there will be no peace. Get rid of religion and peace will ensue.
