Usually? I run between 5mph slower to 5mph faster.
But, I have a framed ticket on my wall I got for running 167mph in a 55mph zone. Was in a '67 Ford LTD Police Interceptor (was a former CHP undercover pursuit car), and got charged with Aggrevated Speeding, Reckless Driving, Unlawful Exibition of Speed, Failure to Obey, Improper Mufflers (Open Headers), and Improper Tires (Racing Tires)
Cost me $1875 bucks in fines and court costs, lost my license for 2 years, 1yr in jail (suspended sentence), and was placed on supervised probation for 3yrs.
Was it worth it? Heck no!! My dad took the car and sold it the day after I got the ticket. I also had to work three jobs that summer to pay off the fines. (I was only 17)

I drive about 7 to 8 miles an hour over the speed limit, because anything under 10 doesn't go on your insurance. if you get a ticket...and you get there faster!!!! That is on the highway though, in town, I do the speed limit, because you never know what crazy old lady is going to pull out in front of you and crash with you in town!!!

If it is the 65 mph thruway, I usually go about 75 along with the flow of the traffic. I always stay within the village speed limits, the cops will tag you for sure.

Usually 10 miles in the highway and 5 miles in the city. I live in a city where they love to give tons of tickets so I try to be more careful.

Since speeding tickets will get me bad marks in my record and higher insurance rates I don't go much over 5mph over the legal limit.

On the hiway I'll maintain a steady 5mph over. Thats usually enough to save you a ticket. In spurts I'll go much faster.
