Depends on who is taking care of who. If his mommy still supports him, NO WAY JOSE! If he is supporting and/or taking care of his aging mother it probably means he is a good man. But not necesarily a good "catch" It depends on if his mom is sweet or a mean old shrew-if she's really needy and demands too much of his time- or if she is self reliant. Also depends on how well they get along, if they respect each other- And finally if his mother has an unhealthy hold over him/controls him or not.

Well it all depends on the situation. If he has lived on his own before but moved in with her to help her out because of her health then yes he is a good catch. If he is just sponging off of mom and eating her cooking and having his laundry done then no he isn't a good catch. I would not want to be with a Mommas boy.

No way, he may be okay but why in the world is he still living with his mother? Usually when then they do that are still attached at the apron strings and believe me you don't want a man who has to ask Mommy dearest his next move

"36 year old man and mommy" should never be used in the same sentence in reference to a grown man's living arrangements.

how does he make you feel? is he caring considerate kind? have you met mommy? is she overbearing and shrew like? i really think this is a case by case thing, hearing t sounds scary and i want to scream "run away run away fast" but he might be a really good guy who has fallen on some hard times.

In other countries its "family".
Here in America its daa-boo.
Tell the next one (girl) that your taking care of your mother, or your job just layed you off, and you lost your place. You can get away with that in Silicon Valley where I live, because everyone lose's their job here.
Either your homeless, or you live with mom.
No big deal, get a motel if something happenes or a weekend get away.

No--I know someone who is 37 & lives with his mother. He is irresponsible--gets paid and blows his money. I asked him what he would do when his mother is not around. He said he has alot of friends he could live with. Run.

Probably, No. Usually those that are late in getting married may be too set in their ways. You'll have to make changes to accomodate them.
