Why is elisabeth on that show still? I mean clearly the View is a left wing, liberal show. Its about as conservative, as sex in the city. Theres' no point in her being there. Every host,co-host and GOD KNOWS the audience. Rosie's lap dogs! are liberal. She the only conservative there. Its' uneven bettle field. I don't hate her or anything. Most attractive one there. But I think she's like a fish out of water. Inpartcular if watched that thing with her and Rosie the other day.. DAMN! THOUGHTS?

Then again, alot of the viewing audience isn't exactly enamored with Rosie and sympathize with Elizabeth, who's pretty, pregnant and sweet. Obviously Rosie is the more powerful debater and smarter, but Elizabeth sort of holds her own. Ultimately, it's all about the ratings. I think people are interested in seeing these two go at each other over the coming weeks, which is why Barbara Walters (who has an ownership interest) is smiling.

I guess Elisabeth is still hanging in there because she feels that SOMEONE has to disagree with the Rosie the Steamroller. Probably the best idea would be to replace Rosie with a moderate - enough of this left/right crap! Let's see what someone WITHOUT talking points can contribute.

Well, I think you answered your own question.....she's there to try to balance the field a little bit. Only problem is is that she has the "Cute little Elizabeth" going for her, and Rosie seems to just overwhelm her sometimes.

Yeah, but ABC and Barbara Walters are laughing all the way to the Bank on this.... While ratings continue to coast upward... Great country hugh??? Anything for a buck. The almighty dollar.

Rosie is a big fat ***** that can't stand when someone calls her out when she is wrong. Kudos to Elizabeth for taking a stand against that slime bag of a woman.

Don't get me started on Joy, she is the one who started the whole thing with her asinine list of "excuses" democraps use to explain why they lost two elections to Bush ands false allegations against him, and then claiming he should be impeached. She is just as bad as Rosie spouting off her memorized rhetoric that every democrap is issued in the mail. Elizabeth came off great today, the other two (Rosie and Joy) came off as even bigger trash piles than they were before.

Rosie is a big fat loud mouth who thinks she is the only one who can have an opinion. I can't STAND Rosie!

She's still there because the hostesses are, for the most part, extreme. Rosie is extreme, though I believe her beliefs are becoming more mainstream. And Elisabeth is extreme ... perhaps the most extreme of them all. I sincerely feel sorry for her ... she is clearly afraid. And we should be afraid, because terrorism exists. What's frightening to me though is that her type of fear, and the fear of others like her, has prevented us from assessing the best possible course of action to alleviate the cause of that fear. If we could take a collective look around, I believe that we would be able to recognize that poverty is the cause of terrorism. Because war creates more poverty (ask the displaced Iraqi citizens, with whom our underpaid and ill-supported soldiers have this in common), in essence I believe we are creating more terrorism. I feel so bad for people like Elisabeth who cannot see this connection ... the world must appear incredibly frightening with no real solution in sight.

I have no idea .
If they want a Republican point of view they should at least get someone mature enough to debate.
Elizabeth is an immature uninformed nightmare. Who just wants to tow the party line.
That does not make for intelligent debate.
It just creates fights, like today which are annoying.

I miss the days when Joy was the biggest nuisance on The View. Now she almost seems tame, when compared with the big mouth.

I like Elisabeth. She's the nice one.
