I am 17 weeks pregnant. I have been having some problems with my lower back and my Dr actually recommended taking yoga or doing Pilates. If you don't feel comfortable doing something during class just skip it. Hope this helps. Good luck

As long as you stay away from the really hot "balmy yoga" classes you should be fine. Especially in the first trimester your body cannot take much more than a slight increase in body temperature - otherwise you risk miscarriage. But, again, if it's not the really hot yoga, it would probably benefit you during the pregnancy.

Yes yoga is fine it is not bouncy like running that could cause contractions they even have pregnancy yoga! It should help to stritch out muscles in your abdomen and should reduce round ligiment pain. Also it should help keep msucle tone when you deliver and help that bug push! You should also have relief with yoga during the feriod your hips spread to reduce back pain its a go if you feel pain stop but it will be fine for you and most likely good for you! Congrats!

They have pregnant yoga classes you can buy the DVDs as well. If you are care full of how you move because your joints are more flexible during pregnancy.

Shoud be fine...check with your doctor. Most any kind of gentle stretching and exercises are very healthy, and will help with the stretching of your muscles that is to come.
