Well I went into the game as a neutral, but no am not glad they lost. They played good attacking football. They made ineffective on the whole the main players from Milan. They created chances, just could not find the back of the net. They opened Milan's so called rock solid back four on numerous occasions and in the end I was rooting for Liverpool. Though it's no consolation to their fans right now, well done Liverpool. You were the better side on the night in my opinion and it's a shame that sometimes that isn't enough to get a team over the line.

No, I am a Manchester United fan, but when it comes to Liverpool or AC Milan, I still support Liverpool.

Given the psyche of the average British football fan, I would have to say undoubtedly, yes! Ironically, any support for the Reds would probably come from their home town rivals, Everton, before it would come from places like Manchester, London, Leeds or Birmingham....but not a lot mind you!

probably. but they should be embarrased that liverpool handled kaka and co. far better than they did. Milan made man u look ordinary as liverpool did to milan in large parts of todays game.

i was pleased that man u beat munich in 99. keep it in england i say.

not to mention, italian football is loathsome. its like the whole idea is to cheat as much as you can and see what you can get away with, on the pitch and off. its like its part of society that they expect teams and players to bend the rules. so man u should be upset that cheaters won the biggest prize in club football.

There's nothing to gloat about nor be ashamed of in the loss. Liverpool played really well; Milan was a wee bit luckier.

am a united fan and am disappointed, because Liverpool played the best football this year tonight, they played well, but couldn't take the chance in front of goal.

to the 2nd poster, CL is for the BEST club.. and as far as im concerned, ac milan deserved it this year. united's had a wonderful yet unlucky season, we started off real strong and then with larsson we were on top of the world.. but with the injuries and larsson leaving it caused drama!

good for ac milan id say. as a united fan, i can say i am happy the better team won. LONG LIVE UNITED!
