From what I have heard she made as statement that basically went "in the media it's the big, fat, loud lesbian against the poor christian girl." Obviously that is a paraphrase, but that's pretty much the gist of it. Anyway, she didn't say anything negative about Christians. All she was doing was giving descriptions of herself and her co host, and the things the media most often discuss about them. Maybe I missed something, but there is nothing wrong with that whatsoever. If this is the incident that you are talking about, then I'm afraid I must recommend you grow a thicker skin. Boy, and people say we homos are sensitive. : )
Her insinuation that our troops are terrorists really irritated me though. Yeah, when you enlist you know there is a chance of going to war, but these are not people who actively search out others to hurt. They are sent there. That made me mad that she likened them to people who intentionally harm innocents and civilians.

Regardless of her sexual orientation, she can say anything she wants to. And she does. She's kind of an idiot, but it makes for entertaining t.v. Hey, the ratings for The View went up once Rosie joined because she's always saying something idiotic, God love her.

Hmm - so far none of the responses have anything to do with your question........
Maybe it's not "OK" what she said, but the people who would be offended by her statements simply don't listen to her or pay any attention?
Maybe they have spoken out but it did not make the 6pm or 10pm news.
I long ago gave up expecting any kind of "moral justice" from the media. I'm not saying they are biased - they just aren't set up to do it.
Ignoring Rosie works very well for me. I see that '"The View" found a way to ignore her.

About radical Christianity? That's all I could find on youtube.
Uhm she's talking about radical Christianity from what I can tell, not regular Christianity. I agree with her I guess, radical Christianity scares me, not because I'm gay, just because it's twisted.
If you're hurt, write the show.

Being an Australian, I am absolutely alienated by the American right-wing *moral majority* who claim to be Christians who lynch black people in Alabama - yes, even today - because they think that coloured skin is the mark of Satan.
Do gay liberationists bomb abortion clinics or kill blacks like American Christians? No

The term - homophobia means to be fearful of homosexuals.
When a Christian believes that homosexuality is a sin (as clearly stated in the Bible), that does not mean they are fearful of homosexuals. You misrepresent Christians as being fearful. True followers of Christ hate the sin, but, as Christ did, reach out in love to the sinner, no matter what kind of sin it is.
Oh, also, by the, way, this is still a free country, last time I checked, and everyone is entitled to their opinion, even when it is morally correct, but "politically incorrect".
Many people, including Rosie, do not understand this.

Are you referring to her quote about radical Christianity being as much a threat as Radical Islam? If so, she is right. Bombing abortion clinics, killing abortion doctors, heck even picketing funerals, all done by those claiming to be Christians. Do their actions represent all of Christianity? No, and neither do the actions of the radical Muslims represent all of Islam.
