The Republicans have plenty of smart and strong women to run for president, but the key word is run, a woman must first want to and actually enter the race before she can run for president. Condilezza Rice could run and she be a strong canidate, but she doesnt want to be president, so first find a woman that wants to run for president then start asking questions.

Stop being bias against republicans and assuming things based on Democrat propaganda, its just not smart and says that you don't put thought to what you hear and say.

I am against the election of a woman into power at this point in time. While I am not sexist, a large portion of the world is and having a woman in power would be viewed as an act of weakness by them. If you don't think we should care what they think, keep in mind some have missles and are waiting for an excuse to launch them.

While they underestimate American women's strength, I do feel global politics are not ready for an American president to be a woman.

Just my opinion though.

You need to be more than smart & republican to get on the republican ticket. You need to be well-connected, and you need to want the job. That's a surprisingly small pool.

This coming election, you also have to be willing to play 'sacrificial lamb.' You see, 'losers' rarely get elected, or even nominated, if they try again and the chances of a republican being elected in 2008 are virtually nil.
