why?ive already come up with reasons,but i need more.help!!

it helps us do other sciences: physics, chemistry, engineering ...

it forms the basis of higher maths - trigonometry, calculus

we use formulae in so many areas - all algebra: money/banks/compound interest, medicine, forensics, manufacturing, computing

It gives us a framework so we can develop solutions to unknown problems.

I use it all the time at work to figure out what is going on with production.
We made 100 parts in 5 hours, If we keep doing the same how many parts will we make from midnight to 6 am?
rate = 100 parts/5 hours
6 hours worth of parts = rate x time = 20 x 6 = 120

algebra is the basic knowledge that we must have to solve all other higher levels of problem solving in subjects like calculus, physics, chemistry, and so on. have you noticed when solving a problem, even if you know the exact formula to solve it, if you don't know the basic algebra - - that is how to manipulate the variables and constants - - you still could not find the correct answer!

Because when you are working at a company in the future (or present), your company obvioulsy raise money. And to see you profit, if it droped or raised, you use graphing, which is algebra, to measure and predict. If you don't learn algebra, get an application to the car wash...please.
