Since utilitarianism determines whether a rule should be followed, and looks at what would happen if it was constantly followed. If adherence to the rule produces more happiness than otherwise, it is a rule that morally must be followed at all times. In other words -- BE HAPPY!! :)
Therefore, I am for a utilitarian stance!

My universe is utilitarian. Things which do not interact do not exist. If they interact they have a use and purpose. We must use our reason to determine the best use for things, and the most useful course to follow.

For, but with the qualification that what is "best" for the majority can't be gained if it *unduly* affects a minority. Nazi Germany would have claimed the Holocaust was "utilitarian" in that what it did was "best" for the majority Aryan race.

I believe that societical institutions (school, government, etc.) should strive for utilitarian benefit, so long as they don't infring upon the rights of other. Contrarily, I believe that a man should work egoistically in personal matters.

On two accounts: I wish the best for everyone and the least bad for everyone.
