Why do guys wear underwear underneath their baithing suits?

theres a few reasons, 1. they think it makes them look cool
2. its more comfortable
3. easy to change in the locker room
4.there friends do
5. in case their trunks come off, they are still wearing somthing.
i dont wear underwear under my suit

Guys who wear baggy bathing suits are insecure. Guys who wear underwear under baggy bathing suits are twice as insecure. Secure guys who really like swimming wear speedos (without underwear). Hope that answers your question.

I know you seen movies where the mens swim trunks come off when they come up too fast, i guess you can say its sort of a 2nd line of defense :) hahaha, but me personally i don't wear any since they have them built in already.

I don't, there is built in underwear. Besides, I rarely wear the things anyway.

lol. well bc im a female wake boarder, i know of and hear how sometimes when guys fall, and land the wrong way when water skiing, or wakeboarding, or even jet skiing..its very painful. i think with a little extra padding, and keeps everything a little confined. : )..poor guys

I don't wear my underwear beneath my swimming trunks coz is unecessary...

Not all guys do that not me of course. If they do they just don't won't people seeing there u know what that's why.
