i just called one and was told i had to wait 3 weeks to get in. 3 WEEKS? how will that get me a medical certificate for today? grrr..

we have few doctors in this little town...
but i did manage to get into one. thank goodness.

I worked 4-years for a Doctor like that. They always over-booked. I would always get my friends in- being a nurse. I 'd just get their file and bring em in.
Call and Tell them you are having some chest pains, but not bad enough to go to the E.R. You're not sure. Then when you get there and in don't mention it and act like you never said it. lol it usually works- or Tell them it is an absolute and they need to call you the first time some one cancels. or put them on speed dial and call every 30 mins. Sometimes I have used the cocky approach and said I need to get in this week, no way will I wait 3-weeks. Especially if he or she is your regular.

Yes she does, but she always sees me the same day between patients when I phone her! You should really get another doctor! You shouldn't have to wait 3 weeks!
