Lopes had been in Honduras doing missionary work. She was in the process of setting up education and services for Honduran children, while also volunteering at a children's centre. She was killed in a car accident in Honduras on April 25, 2002. She was the sole victim of seven people in the vehicle (a Mitsubishi Pajero). The vehicle rolled several times, throwing Lisa out the window. She died from severe head injuries.

Lisa Lopes was driving too fast in the Honduras. She was being video taped and was not wearing a seatbelt. Her last moments showed her veering to the left quickly. There was blood curdling screaming.

I thought the documentary was sad, but also very intriguing. As a fan hers and TLC I found it interesting to hear Left Eye comment on certain things in her life (past & present), that she never spoke about (i.e. her relationship w/ Rison & the meaning behind her lyrics to the rap in "Waterfalls"). I also found it a little eerie that they showed footage of her seconds before her car accident.

i just watched the last days of left eye and they showed her handing a tin cocacola can 2 sumbodi and then she opened her eyes really wide and swerved and the car flipped over and she fell out of the window and died from head injuries
