I work for a cell provider, reply to one of the messages with the word stop. give them 24 hours to stop if they don't contact your cell phone company, get a contact number to that company and call them. If all else fails you will need to change your number. These arn't a scam (in my opion they are) but the FCC says cell providers must work as a billing agent for the companies. Just stoping your text messanges won't stop the charges from coming to your bill. Keep in mind all of these companies who run these programs are supposed to send a text message to the phone number who signed up for the service. But I see cases were the account holder is in their 70s and 80s and barely know how make a call. Everyone who reads this we need to band together and get the FCC to force these companies to make there customers pay for their services up from and not bill them.

sorry buddy, can't help you there. but I do know that you can stop texting all together. If you don't want your daughter to send or receive anymore text messages, you can call your cell phone company and have them block it. Well, atleast you can do that with cingular. I'm not certain if it's with all other companies.

Call your service provider and tells them about the discrepacy. It will normally be billed as "third party data" which will cost you a lot of money. Trust me I spent $300.00 on that before and it irked me.

I'd call my cell phone company. I imagine it's something that they're used to dealing with.
