They can't even swing a bat ok there's a few. But why are you paying good money to watch a baseball game to watch the pitcher pitch and the batters hit. When most pitchers can't even get the bat off their shoulder. It's pathetic the N.L. needs to do away with it and bring in the DH it's what makes the AL a far superior league then the National League. Why pay for something that when you go to the ballpark when only 8 players on each side can hit. Rather then when you're watching an AL game you know every player has the ability to go deep or put the ball in play. Rather then watching some pitcher flailing around like they're a fish out of water.

So can you tell me why then the AL has the best hitters and the best pitchers? There are very few dominant pitchers in the N.L. but in the A.L. there's a whole group of pitchers that the N.L. would die for. Maybe there so great is because they don't have to worry about something they aren't paid for and that is too hit. Yeah N.L. maybe older but it is not the best league and anyone who says so doesn't know what they're talking about. You can honestly say that you would rather see a pitcher hit then a player such as David Ortiz, Travis Hafner, Edgar Martinez, etc...... Then to watch some pitcher try to hit the ball. Hmmmmm then baseball isnt' very exciting come on can you honestly say you rather have a pitcher hit then see someone who can actually hit?

I totally disagree I think that the DH is a horrible rule and it takes away from the drama that is baseball. The National League is real baseball

It has been costing AL teams games for years now. They should have been switched over to the DH.

I agree. I don't want to see a Roy Halladay strike out when I can see a David Ortiz or Jim Thome or Travis Hafner hit a big game winning walk off home run.
