Following Rosie and Elizabeth's argument on "The View" this morning, it seems clear that individuals such as Elizabeth Hasselbeck remain paralyzed with fear instilled mostly by the Bush administration, and based only loosely on fact. How can we help individuals such as herself to see that war creates more terrorism by failing to address its root causes?

administer truth serum and hypnosis.

Or perhaps group therapy, or drama therapy...Wait, I forgot, she's already doing that on The View.

Elizabeth is so far right-winged she's going in circles. And since she attended the White House dinner when Queen Elizabeth was there, her head reeks of the odor of GWB's behind. She's lost any objectivity she may have ever had. I hope maturity and time will open her eyes. It's fine to claim allegiance to the Republican party or the Democratic party, but there is a reason this administration has such a low public satisfaction rating. I do feel that GWB uses the word terrorist to instill fear and justify the Iraqi war.

First, you would have to tape her mouth shut !!!!!! You can't help someone who won't shut up and listen. Second, you'd have to steal her daily talking points sheet from the RNC. She has become (thanks to Rosie) the darling of the all the right wing nuts. No wonder she don't want Rosie to leave The View. Who ever heard of this air head before she was chosen, for whatever reason, to be on this show. I wanted the cute little blonde who used to be on the soap opera "Port Charles"......The next thing I know this person was chosen and I for one didn't know who or where she came from.

Let's all see how well she and the show does when Rosie leaves. She is a typical GOP clone..they act like robots. When all else fails, play the fear card, and all the clones/robots march to the same orders and repeat the same things passed down from the RNC and to he*l with the facts.

only the main present in the long line of Democrats who experience like they could desire to easily could desire to be interviewed by way of people who believe them. subsequently assuring that they only get softball questions. Barry is an entertainer, no longer a flesh presser and this thought that he won't be interviewed by way of Hasselbeck through fact she is a conservative is between the main ridiculous and infantile issues I easily have considered in a mutually as. It only is going to coach how rather idiotic many liberals have become.

I don't agree with Liz about supporting Bush and his 28% approval rating but I also don't support Rosie's views either. I am against this war from day one, but I would say 90% who are opposed to this war don't agree with Rosie either. Get rid of both of them

I think Elizabeth is the saner of the two. Since we are the only ones fighting terrorism. Why has terrorism increased around the world against everyone but us. And certainly during the Clinton Administration that avoided any direct confrontation against anyone that could fight back; why were we attacked.

Only because we showed a sign of weakness. The Middle-East has been this way for 6000 years, why is everyone shocked. Even if we pull out of Iraq and Afghanistan the Muslim Extremists are not going to stop, ask the Spanish and French. If we all converted to Islam they still would find a bone to pick, the are effectively killing more Muslims than we ( Western Civilizations ) ever could. Stop watching CNN and drinking the Kool-aid of the Liberal Media Machine and do some of your own research.

We can't help Elizabeth Hasselbeck see anything that she does not want to see. As long as that naive, close-minded woman chooses to walk around with blinders on... pitying her and praying for her children, that they do not grow up to be just as deluded as their mother, is all that we can do.

How can we make people like Rosie see that her incredibly ridiculous comments and open criticism only increases the resolve of terrorists all over and insurgents in Iraq? Whether you agree with it or not, we're still at war and losing fellow citizens every day, which is what should be our #1 concern-our fellow citizens, who, by the way, have sacrificed a good deal to serve our country. And by serving our country I mean volunteering to do whatever it is they are asked/told to do, whether they agree with the motivation behind it or not. They need to be appreciated and given the respect they are due. When Americans criticize our military and government the way they do (yes, I realize they can, that's part of what's great about our country) they only fuel the fire of those we're fighting against. If we pull out now, the terrorists will see that as a weakness and attack us even more. Being afraid of terrorists is ridiculous and fueled by Bush? Tell that to someone who has lost a loved one, either on September 11, 2001, or in this war. We have to play by the rules; the terrorists and insurgents don't-and how much worse is it when we crucify our troops for some "misdeed" in Iraq? We're at war, whether the bleeding hearts like it or not, and war is not pretty.

How are you going to address the root cause of terrorism? In this case, fundamental Islam? These people aren't convinced using logical arguments and have absolutely no respect for someone who isn't just like them.

Elizabeth is scary- she's a Stepford Republican. Her close mindedness is typical. They won't see a thing.
I can't believe I'm going to say this: I'll miss Rosie
