History paper on music and the Iraq war?

Question

I have to write a paper on music and its involvement with current Iraq war. Does anyone know if Sheryl Crow ever went and sang for or visited the troops in Iraq?

I know she's against the war but i thought someone told me she went over there once to sing for the troops

part of my argument is that those who protest are being bashed for not supporting troops and i was trying to find someone anti-war who had visited the troops to prove a point that they are against war not soldiers.

I'd research the Dixie Chicks. They've had a lot of issues with the war.

U2 and Green day released a song with a video that put the war in perspective by showing how the troops could have been better used to help the victims of Hurricane Katrina.

I think your teacher is looking for the effects of music during war time, not who visits the area.
