My husbands narrow mined family is making comments that maybe he should have a dna test done on the baby I am carrying because "girls don't run in there family" I am hurt that they would even question it but would like to have some proof to show them that there thoughts have no logical basis at all?

Don't give into them. It will make you look like you questioned it too.

Figures that a family of males would believe this. Idiots.

Do you not have access to their family records/geneology? None of these guys have ever had a daughter??? I bet they treat women poorly, don't let them do the same to you.

Sorry to say it, but it just sounds like his family doesn't like you much and is looking for any excuse to call your behavior into question.

However there are some families that have gender tendencies. My Mom was one of 12 kids. Only four of them were boys. If it really is an issue for them, tell them to pay for the test or quit whining about it.

How is your husband dealing with this notion by the way? Is he just laughing it off, or is he actually considering it? You may need to deal with that separately, and I wish you luck.
